Spectator Tips:

Here are a few tips to make the spectator experience even more memorable:

Tip #1: Respect the Runners. Stay clear of course boundaries and when crossing the course check to make sure no runners are coming

Tip #2: Know your runners projected pace per mile. This will make it easier to plan when you need to be at the different spectator locations on the course Tip #3: Get Noticed. Help your runner pick you out of the crowd by having a sign or wearing distinctive clothing that is easy for a runner to spot.

Tip #3: Be Prepared by being a resource along the course for your runner. There will be aid stations along the course for runners, however, a good hand-off during the race might be a favorite snack or beverage. Consider the weather, as well. If it’s raining, bring extra socks. If it is sunny, bring sunscreen. And as the day warms up, be ready to receive items from your runner as they shed extra clothing.

Tip #4: Have a plan to link up with your runner post-race. Plan a spot in the stadium to meet such as a seating section.
